Q&A with Wesley Johnson Psychologist

Wes has been working as a psychologist in private practice in St Kilda, South Melbourne and Ivanhoe for the last 15 years. He has managed his own psychology practice, working with multiple psychologists over many years. Wes understands the dynamics of running a small business and managing small teams. Wes has worked with industry professionals, advising them in regards to improving their mental health. He has a strong interest in the treatment of anxiety and depression and works with both adults and children. He completed his studies at Melbourne University in the 1990s and he loves his work.

Creative Industry Mental Health Discussion Night

You are invited to join us in a small, intimate and private discussion night. We have invited some of the best and most interesting studios, producers, freelancers and artists to come together. The aim of the night is to bring together senior colleagues from the Animation, Motion design & VFX disciplines for an open and friendly chat over a beer or glass of wine, so we can network and learn from one another.

Date : Wednesday the 12th of August Time : 6:30 PM to 8:30pm

Topics for discussion -

- Work / Life balance & turning off, separating work and family.

- Dealing with work-related pressures, stress and anxiety.

- Covid 19 - dealing with change and uncertainty.

- How to make it more acceptable to talk about mental health at work.

- Questions can be asked anonymously 😀

Networking guide

- A networking guide with portfolio and contact details.

Why only 50 people ?

- Everybody gets the opportunity to talk.

- It’s small to enable easy communication and networking.

- It’s very important if you register you attend or cancel well in advance.

What you need to provide ?

- Your contact details and a portfolio link

- You will be asked to provide questions for the discussion

- You will be asked to fill out a quick survey for the event
